The 2012 Creative Asia awards had a total of 1730 images entered by 438 photographers from 47 countries. The final round of the awards had an online audience of 1200 people. And my image made it to the top 25 for the portrait open category!
The finalist judges were Zack Arias, Robert Earp, Peter Eastway, Raymond Kam, Michael Greenberg, Drew Gurian, Mike Langford, Bobby Lee, Joe McNally, Louis Pang, Ian Poole, and Antonio Ranieri.
Gosh! how do I describe my feelings for being in the top 25! Only one word “Grateful” . I want thank all the people that believed and supported my work. You guys are the ones that have encouraged and make me want to do better. Thank you for all your love, facebook ‘likes’, twitter mentions and most importantly thank you for being so encouraging. Without you… yes you! I wouldn’t have be able to do it.

A slight update for this post. As I just got to know that my image was actually ranked 7th out of the top 25 and the only Malaysian for the portrait open category! Thanks again everyone!
